Europa League 2015-16 : Bilbao held to a 1-1 draw by Marseille but qualifies for the Round of 16
BILBAO, Feb. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Athletic Bilbao tied 1-1 with Marseille (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao.
Marseille players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Athletic Bilbao with a saving goal from Merino Sabin in the 81st minute.
