Europa League 2015-16 : Villarreal held to a 1-1 draw by Napoli but qualifies for the Round of 16
NAPLES, Feb. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli tied 1-1 with Villarreal (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples.
Napoli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Slovak midfielder Marek Hamsik in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Villarreal with a saving goal from Villarreal midfielder Tomás Pina in the 59th minute.
