Europa League 2015-16 : Shakhtar and Sevilla play out 2-2 draw

Apr. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Shakhtar Donetsk tied 2-2 with Sevilla (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a semifinals on Thursday.

Shakhtar Donetsk players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Marlos Bonfim ('23) and Stepanenko Taras ('36) while Sevilla only scored once Vitolo Perez ('6). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sevilla with a saving goal from French forward Kevin Gameiro on penalty in the 82nd minute.

The second leg between Shakhtar Donetsk and Sevilla will be played on Thursday May 5, 2016.
