Europa League 2016-17 : Man Utd beats Feyenoord 4-0

MANCHESTER, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Manchester United defeated Feyenoord by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at Old Trafford.

Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Wayne Rooney in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mata '69, Jones '75/own and Lingard '90).

The result put Man Utd second in Group A with 9 points. Feyenoord is third with 7 points. In their last game, Manchester United will meet Zorya Luhansk at Old Trafford on December 8, while Feyenoord will face Fenerbahce.
