NICOSIA, Dec. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : APOEL Nicosia defeated Olympiacos by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.
APOEL Nicosia dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Da Costa Manuel in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Τhrylos” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by De Camargo Igor with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
