Europa League 2016-17 : Saint-Etienne beats Qabala 1-0

SAINT-ÉTIENNE, Oct. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Saint-Etienne defeated Qabala by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Ricardinho Da Silva into his own net in the 70th minute.

The result put Saint-Etienne third in Group C with 5 points. Qabala is bottom with no points. In their next game, Saint-Etienne will meet Qabala at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on November 3, while Qabala will face Saint-Etienne.
