Europa League 2016-17 : Anderlecht defeats Qabala 3-1

BAKU, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Anderlecht defeated Qabala by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Bakcell Arena in Baku.

Tielemans Youri opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Qabala catch up in the 15th minute thanks to Ricardinho Da Silva penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The “Purple and White” eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Bruno Massimo ('90) and Teodorczyk Lukasz ('90).

The result put Anderlecht top of Group C with 11 points. Qabala is bottom with no points. In their last game, Anderlecht will meet second-placed Saint-Etienne at the Bakcell Arena on December 8, while Qabala will face Mainz.
