Europa League 2016-17 : Dundalk defeats Maccabi 1-0

KIGALI, Sep. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Dundalk defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Tallaght Stadium in Kigali.

45 minutes of play and neither Dundalk nor Maccabi Tel Aviv have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Kilduff Ciaran in the 72nd minute.

The result put Dundalk second in Group D with 4 points. Maccabi is bottom with no points. In their next game, Dundalk will meet group leaders Zenit St Petersburg at the Tallaght Stadium on October 20, while Maccabi Tel Aviv will face AZ Alkmaar.
