KIGALI, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : AZ Alkmaar defeated Dundalk by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Tallaght Stadium in Kigali.
All the action happened in the first half, with Weghorst Wout goal in the 9th minute.
The result put AZ second in Group D with 5 points. Dundalk is third with 4 points. In their last game, AZ Alkmaar will meet group leaders Zenit St Petersburg at the Tallaght Stadium on December 8, while Dundalk will face Maccabi Tel Aviv.
