Europa League 2016-17 : Viktoria Plzen and Austria Vienna both exit Europa League

PLZEň, Dec. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Viktoria Plzen defeated Austria Vienna by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Doosan Arena in Plzeň.

Duris Michal scored dual goals

Austria Vienna had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Holzhauser ('19 on penalty) and Rotpuller Lukas ('40), while Viktoria Plzen only scored once Horava Tomas ('44). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Viktorka nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Duris Michal '72, '84).
