KONYA, Sep. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Konyaspor by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Torku Arena in Konya.

45 minutes of play and neither Shakhtar Donetsk nor Konyaspor have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Argentine forward Facundo Ferreyra in the 75th minute.

The result put Shakhtar top of Group H with 3 points. In their next game, Shakhtar Donetsk will meet second-placed Braga at the Torku Arena on September 29, while Konyaspor will face Gent.
