GHENT, Sep. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Gent defeated Konyaspor by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the AFG Arena in Ghent.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Saief Kenneth ('17) and Neto Renato ('33).

The result put Gent second in Group H with 4 points. Konyaspor is bottom with no points. In their next game, Gent will meet group leaders Shakhtar Donetsk at the AFG Arena on October 20, while Konyaspor will face Braga.
