Europa League 2016-17 : Braga beats Konyaspor 3-1

BRAGA, Nov. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Braga defeated Konyaspor by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.

Konyaspor opened the score in the score in the 30th minute thanks to Rangelov Dimitar, before Braga regained the advantage with Velazquez Emiliano ('34) and Eduardo Wilson ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Arcebispos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Horta Ricardo in stoppage time.

The result put Braga second in Group H with 5 points. Konyaspor is bottom with one point. In their next game, Braga will meet third-placed Gent at the Braga Municipal Stadium on November 24, while Konyaspor will face Shakhtar Donetsk.
