Europa League 2016-17 : Shakhtar beats Konyaspor 4-0

LVIV, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Konyaspor by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Arena Lviv.

Shakhtar Donetsk dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bardakci Abdulkerim ('11 own) and Dentinho Bonfim ('36). Leading 2-0 at the break, the “Hirnyky” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Eduardo Da Silva '66 and Bernard '74).

The result put Shakhtar top of Group H with 15 points. Konyaspor is bottom with one point. In their last game, Shakhtar Donetsk will meet second-placed Braga at the Arena Lviv on December 8, while Konyaspor will face Gent.
