Europa League 2016-17 : Krasnodar hold Red Bull Salzburg to 1-1

KRASNODAR, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Krasnodar tied 1-1 with Red Bull Salzburg (halftime: 0-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Kuban Stadium in Krasnodar.

Red Bull Salzburg players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Dabbur Munas in the 37th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Krasnodar with a saving goal from Smolov Fyodor in the 85th minute.

The result put Krasnodar second in Group I with 7 points. Red Bull Salzburg is third with 4 points. In their last game, Krasnodar will meet Nice at the Kuban Stadium on December 8, while Red Bull Salzburg will face Schalke 04.
