Europa League 2016-17 : Fiorentina beats Slovan Liberec 3-1

LIBEREC, Oct. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Fiorentina defeated Slovan Liberec by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadion u Nisy in Liberec.

Kalinic Nikola scored dual goals

Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kalinic Nikola ('8, '23). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Babacar in the 70th minute.

The result put Fiorentina top of Group J with 7 points. Slovan Liberec is bottom with one point. In their next game, Fiorentina will meet Slovan Liberec at the Stadion u Nisy on November 3, while Slovan Liberec will face Fiorentina.
