Europa League 2016-17 : Qarabag beats PAOK 1-0

THESSALONIKI, Nov. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Qarabag defeated PAOK by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Spanish midfielder Michel Madera in the 69th minute.

The result put Qarabag second in Group J with 7 points. PAOK is third with 4 points. In their next game, Qarabag will meet Slovan Liberec at the Toumba Stadium on November 24, while PAOK will face Fiorentina.
