Europa League 2016-17 : PAOK defeats Fiorentina 3-2

FLORENCE, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : PAOK defeated Fiorentina by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.

PAOK dominated the first half thanks to goals from Shakhov Yevhen ('5) and Campos Djalma ('26). Leading 2-1 at the break, the “Double-headed eagle of the north” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Rodrigues Garry in stoppage time.

The result put Fiorentina top of Group J with 10 points. PAOK is second with 7 points. In their last game, Fiorentina will meet third-placed Qarabag at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on December 8, while PAOK will face Slovan Liberec.
