Europa League 2016-17 : Sparta beats Hapoel 1-0

BEERSHEBA, Oct. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Sparta Prague defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Turner Stadium in Beersheba.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Pulkrab Matej in the 71st minute.

The result put Sparta top of Group K with 6 points. Hapoel is third with 4 points. In their next game, Sparta Prague will meet third-placed Hapoel Be'er Sheva at the Turner Stadium on November 3, while Hapoel Be'er Sheva will face Sparta Prague.
