MILAN, Oct. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Inter Milan defeated Southampton by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

Southampton made Inter Milan doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Inter Milan midfielder Antonio Candreva in the 67th minute.
