PRAGUE, Nov. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Sparta Prague defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Generali Arena in Prague.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Bitton Ben ('23 own) and Lafata David ('38).
The result put Sparta top of Group K with 9 points. Hapoel is third with 4 points. In their next game, Sparta Prague will meet second-placed Southampton at the Generali Arena on November 24, while Hapoel Be'er Sheva will face Inter Milan.
