Europa League 2016-17 : Hapoel beats Inter 3-2

BEERSHEBA, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Hapoel Be'er Sheva defeated Inter Milan by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 0-2), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Turner Stadium in Beersheba.

Inter Milan had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Icardi ('13) and Brozović ('25). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Camels nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Maranhao Lucio '58, Nwakaeme Anthony '71 on penalty and Sahar Ben '90).

The result put Hapoel third in Group K with 7 points. Inter is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Hapoel Be'er Sheva will meet second-placed Southampton at the Turner Stadium on December 8, while Inter Milan will face Sparta Prague.
