PRAGUE, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Sparta Prague defeated Southampton by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Generali Arena in Prague.
All the action happened in the first half, with Nhamoinesu Costa goal in the 11th minute.
The result put Sparta top of Group K with 12 points. Southampton is second with 7 points. In their last game, Sparta Prague will meet Inter Milan at the Generali Arena on December 8, while Southampton will face Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
