Europa League 2016-17 : FCZ beats Osmanlispor 2-1

ZURICH, Sep. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Zürich defeated Osmanlispor by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich.

Zürich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Schonbachler Marco in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Zürich players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cavusevic Dzengis in the 79th minute.

The result put Osmanlispor second in Group L with 3 points. FCZ is third with 3 points. In their next game, Osmanlispor will meet group leaders Villarreal at the Letzigrund Stadium on October 20, while Zürich will face Steaua Bucuresti.
