Europa League 2016-17 : Steaua Bucuresti beats Osmanlispor 2-1

BUCHAREST, Nov. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Steaua Bucuresti defeated Osmanlispor by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the National Arena in Bucharest.

Osmanlispor had started off well by taking the lead in the 30th minute with a goal by Ndiaye Badou. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the “Ros-Albastrii” nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Momcilovic Marko '68 and Tamaş '86).

The result put Osmanlispor top of Group L with 7 points. Steaua Bucuresti is bottom with 6 points. In their last game, Osmanlispor will meet third-placed Zürich at the National Arena on December 8, while Steaua Bucuresti will face Villarreal.
