Europa League 2016-17 : Rostov and Man Utd tied at 1-1

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Mar. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Rostov tied 1-1 with Manchester United (halftime: 0-1), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Olimp-2 Stadium in Rostov-on-Don.

Manchester United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 35th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rostov with a saving goal from Bukharov Aleksandr in the 53rd minute.

The second leg between Rostov and Manchester United will be played on Thursday March 16, 2017 (kick-off: 21:05) in Manchester.
