Europa League 2016-17 : Lyon beats AZ 4-1

ALKMAAR, Feb. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Lyon defeated AZ Alkmaar by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the AFAS Stadion in Alkmaar.

Alexandre Lacazette scored dual goals

Lyon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Tousart Lucas ('26) and Lacazette ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lacazette '57 and Ferri '90).

The second leg between AZ Alkmaar and Lyon will be played on Thursday February 23, 2017 (kick-off: 21:05) in Lyon.
