Europa League 2016-17 : Gent beats Tottenham 1-0

GHENT, Feb. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Gent defeated Tottenham by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the AFG Arena in Ghent.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Perbet Jeremy in the 59th minute.

The second leg between Gent and Tottenham will be played on Thursday February 23, 2017 (kick-off: 21:05) in London.
