Europa League 2016-17 : Besiktas beats Hapoel 3-1

BEERSHEBA, Feb. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Besiktas defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Turner Stadium in Beersheba.

Soares William opened the score in the 42nd minute with an own goal, before seeing Hapoel Be'er Sheva catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Barda Elyaniv. 1-1 at half time. The “Black Eagles” eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Tosun Cenk ('60) and Hutchinson Atiba ('90).

The second leg between Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Besiktas will be played on Thursday February 23, 2017 (kick-off: 19:00) in Istanbul.
