Europa League 2016-17 : Man Utd beats Saint-Etienne 3-0

MANCHESTER, Feb. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Manchester United defeated Saint-Etienne by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at Old Trafford.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored tripple goals

Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ibrahimovic '75, '88/penalty).

The second leg between Manchester United and Saint-Etienne will be played on Wednesday February 22, 2017 (kick-off: 18:00) in Saint-Étienne.
