Europa League 2016-17 : Besiktas beats Hapoel 2-1 to qualify for the Round of 16
ISTANBUL, Feb. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Besiktas defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.
Besiktas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cameroonian forward Vincent Aboubakar in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Black Eagles” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tosun Cenk with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
