Europa League 2016-17 : M'Gladbach beats Fiorentina 4-2 to qualify for the Round of 16

FLORENCE, Feb. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Mönchengladbach defeated Fiorentina by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-2), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.

Lars Stindl scored tripple goals

Fiorentina had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Kalinic Nikola ('16) and Valero ('29), while M'Gladbach only scored once Stindl ('44 on penalty). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Foals nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Stindl '47, '55 and Christensen Andreas '60).
