Europa League 2016-17 : Lyon beats AZ 7-1 to qualify for the Round of 16

LYON, Feb. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Lyon defeated AZ Alkmaar by a big score of 7-1 (halftime: 4-1), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.

Nabil Fekir scored tripple goals

Lyon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Fekir ('5, '27), Cornet ('17) and Darder ('34). Leading 4-1 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Fekir '78, Aouar Houssem '87 and Diakhaby '89).
