Europa League 2016-17 : Celta Vigo beats Shakhtar 2-0 in extra time to qualify for the Round of 16
KHARKIV, Feb. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Celta Vigo defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 after extra time, in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv.
The score was still 0-1 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after Iago Aspas's only goal on penalty in the 90th minute, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. In the 108th minute, it was ultimately Cabral Gustavo who brought Celta to victory by scoring the winning goal.
