Europa League 2016-17 : Rostov held to a 1-1 draw by Sparta but qualifies for the Round of 16
PRAGUE, Feb. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 : Sparta Prague tied 1-1 with Rostov (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Generali Arena in Prague.
Rostov players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Poloz Dmitry in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sparta Prague with a saving goal from Karavaev Vyacheslav in the 84th minute.
