JERUSALEM, Aug. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Saint-Etienne defeated Beitar Jerusalem by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a Europa League qualifier tie on Wednesday night at the Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Fabien Lemoine ('15) and Rueda ('30 own).

The second leg between Beitar Jerusalem and Saint-Etienne will be played on Thursday August 25, 2016 (kick-off: 20:45) in Saint-Étienne.
