Europa League 2016-17 Qualifiers : PAOK defeats Dinamo Tbilisi 3-0

TBILISI, Aug. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : PAOK defeated Dinamo Tbilisi by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a Europa League qualifier tie on Thursday night at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.

PAOK dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Matos Leo in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Double-headed eagle of the north” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Crespo '71 and Pereyra Facundo '83).

The second leg between Dinamo Tbilisi and PAOK will be played on Thursday August 25, 2016 (kick-off: 20:00) in Thessaloniki.
