Europa League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Qabala beats Maribor 3-1

BAKU, Aug. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Qabala defeated Maribor by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a Europa League qualifier tie on Thursday night at the Bakcell Arena in Baku.

Dabo Baqali scored dual goals

Tavares Marcos opened the score in the 17th minute, before seeing Qabala catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Sergei Zenjov. 1-1 at half time. The Radarlar eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Dabo Baqali ('50, '52).

The second leg between Qabala and Maribor will be played on Thursday August 25, 2016 (kick-off: 20:15) in Maribor.
