Europa League 2016-17 Qualifiers : Anderlecht beats Slavia 3-0 to qualify for Europa League
ANDERLECHT, Aug. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2016-17 (Qualifiers) : Anderlecht defeated Slavia Prague by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Thursday night at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Anderlecht.
Anderlecht dominated the first half thanks to goals from Tielemans Youri ('22 on penalty) and Teodorczyk Lukasz ('40 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the “Purple and White” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Heylen Michael in the 60th minute.
Anderlecht, who won the first leg (3-0), secured their ticket to the Europa League finals. Slavia is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Play-off
