Europa League 2017-18 : Braga beats Hoffenheim 2-1

SINSHEIM, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Braga defeated Hoffenheim by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena in Sinsheim.

Hoffenheim forward Sandro Wagner opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Braga catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Teixeira. 1-1 at half time. The Arcebispos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Sousa in the 50th minute.

The result put Braga top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Braga will meet second-placed Istanbul Basaksehir at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena on September 28, while Hoffenheim will face Ludogorets Razgrad.
