Europa League 2017-18 : Braga beats Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1

BRAGA, Sep. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Braga defeated Istanbul Basaksehir by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.

Braga forward Hassan opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Istanbul Basaksehir catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Emre Belözoğlu. 1-1 at half time. The Arcebispos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by [Fransérgio with one minute left in regular time.

The result put Braga top of Group C with 6 points. Istanbul Basaksehir is third with one point. In their next game, Braga will meet second-placed Ludogorets Razgrad at the Braga Municipal Stadium on October 19, while Istanbul Basaksehir will face Hoffenheim.
