Europa League 2017-18 : Braga defeats Hoffenheim 3-1

BRAGA, Nov. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Braga defeated Hoffenheim by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.

Braga dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by [Marcelo Goiano in the 1st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Arcebispos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice ([Fransérgio '81, '90).

The result put Braga top of Group C with 10 points. Hoffenheim is bottom with 4 points. In their last game, Braga will meet third-placed Istanbul Basaksehir at the Braga Municipal Stadium on December 7, while Hoffenheim will face Ludogorets Razgrad.
