ISTANBUL, Dec. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Istanbul Basaksehir defeated Braga by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium.

Istanbul Basaksehir dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bosnian forward Edin Višća in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Istanbul Basaksehir players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Belözoğlu on penalty in the 77th minute.
