Europa League 2017-18 : Milan beats Austria Vienna 5-1

VIENNA, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : AC Milan defeated Austria Vienna by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 3-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna.

Silva scored tripple goals

AC Milan dominated the first half thanks to goals from Çalhanoğlu ('7) and Silva ('10, '20). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Rossoneri further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Silva '56 and Suso '63).

The result put Milan top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, AC Milan will meet third-placed Rijeka at the Ernst Happel Stadium on September 28, while Austria Vienna will face AEK Athens.
