Europa League 2017-18 : Milan beats Rijeka 3-2

MILAN, Sep. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : AC Milan defeated Rijeka by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

AC Milan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Silva in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rossoneri further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Musacchio '53 and Cutrone '90).

The result put Milan top of Group D with 6 points. Rijeka is bottom with no points. In their next game, AC Milan will meet second-placed AEK Athens at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on October 19, while Rijeka will face Austria Vienna.
