REGGIO EMILIA, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Atalanta defeated Everton by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Mapei Stadium-Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Andrea Masiello ('27), Gomez Alejandro ('41) and Bryan Cristante ('44).

The result put Atalanta top of Group E with 3 points. In their next game, Atalanta will meet second-placed Lyon at the Mapei Stadium-Città del Tricolore on September 28, while Everton will face Apollon Limassol.
