Europa League 2017-18 : Atalanta defeats Everton 5-1

LIVERPOOL, Nov. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Atalanta defeated Everton by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at Goodison Park in Liverpool.

Bryan Cristante and Cornelius Andreas scored dual goals

Atalanta dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Bryan Cristante in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Dea further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Cristante '64, Gosens Robin '86 and Cornelius Andreas '88, '90).

The result put Atalanta top of Group E with 11 points. Everton is bottom with one point. In their last game, Atalanta will meet second-placed Lyon at Goodison Park on December 7, while Everton will face Apollon Limassol.
