Europa League 2017-18 : Lyon beats Apollon 4-0

LYON, Nov. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Lyon defeated Apollon Limassol by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.

Lyon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Diakhaby ('29) and Fekir ('32). Leading 2-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Diaz Mariano '67 and Maolida Myziane '90).

The result put Lyon second in Group E with 11 points. Apollon is third with 3 points. In their last game, Lyon will meet group leaders Atalanta at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais on December 7, while Apollon Limassol will face Everton.
