Europa League 2017-18 : Hapoel beats Lugano 2-1

BEERSHEBA, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Hapoel Be'er Sheva defeated Lugano by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Turner Stadium in Beersheba.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Einbinder Daniel in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Camels further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tzedek Shir on penalty in the 60th minute.

The result put Hapoel second in Group G with 3 points. In their next game, Hapoel Be'er Sheva will meet Viktoria Plzen at the Turner Stadium on September 28, while Lugano will face Steaua Bucuresti.
