Europa League 2017-18 : Steaua Bucuresti beats Viktoria Plzen 3-0

BUCHAREST, Sep. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Europa League 2017-18 : Steaua Bucuresti defeated Viktoria Plzen by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the National Arena in Bucharest.

Budescu Constantin scored dual goals

Steaua Bucuresti dominated the first half thanks to goals from Budescu Constantin ('21 on penalty, '44). Leading 2-0 at the break, the “Ros-Albastrii” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alibec Denis in the 72nd minute.

The result put Steaua Bucuresti top of Group G with 3 points. In their next game, Steaua Bucuresti will meet third-placed Lugano at the National Arena on September 28, while Viktoria Plzen will face Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
